Bank paperwork, read and checked for you
Documind reads ID photos, statements, cheques and emails. It checks each value. It asks a person when unsure, then fills your systems.

Three everyday problems
-
New customers wait while staff type.
A customer sends an ID photo and a bill. Then they wait while someone types it all in. Some do not wait.
-
Trade papers often do not match.
One letter of credit can bring ten papers. A wrong date or amount on one page means the bank can refuse the set. 1
-
More rules mean more papers to read.
Each review asks for new papers from the customer. Your team reads them all, one page at a time. 2
- 1. At one banking group, 53.45% of export and 30.02% of import papers had a mismatch. The data is from 2018 (study, 2020). Meral, İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi, 2020
- 2. The new EU anti-money-laundering rulebook, Regulation (EU) 2024/1624, applies from 10 July 2027. EUR-Lex, Regulation (EU) 2024/1624

Questions people ask
What can Documind read for a bank?
ID card photos, utility bills, payslips and bank statements in PDF or Excel. It also reads scanned cheques and notes, letter of credit papers and customer emails. Handwriting is read too. What it cannot read, it shows to a person.
Does it work with papers from many countries?
Yes. It reads many languages, including handwriting and accented letters. Local tax IDs and IBANs are checked with their check digits. It reads cheques and notes, front and back. What it cannot read, it flags for a person.
How does it know when it is wrong?
Three different AI models read each value and must agree. Math and format rules check numbers and dates. If it is not sure, a person decides. Every answer shows the spot on the page it came from.
Does Documind approve loans or new customers?
No. Documind reads the papers and checks the values. A person on your team makes every decision. Documind does not score credit and does not check who a customer really is. Your own tools and staff do that.
Where do the results go?
Into your core banking, loan or trade system, through its import options. Documind can also create a task or draft a reply email. It checks against reference lists you give it, such as your customer list.
Where is our data kept?
On your own servers. Documind can run without internet, on AI models you own. Nothing is sent to an outside AI service. Documind is GDPR and KVKK aligned. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
